About Guzheng
Guzheng is one of the most important traditional Chinese instruments with a history of more than 2,500 years. The contemporary Guzheng with 21 strings belongs to the plucked string instrument family.
Guzheng in the World
- In most universities of Asian countries, Guzheng performance as a discipline can be awarded with bachelor’s, master’s, and doctorate degrees.
- There is also a bachelor's degree in Guzheng performance at the Bard Conservatory of Music in the United States.
